      <image:title>Work - PRONGHORN REVIVAL</image:title>
<image:caption>Pronghorn Revival is a short directed by Unbranded's Ben Masters that documents the efforts of Sul Ross University's Borderlands Research Institute to re-populate West Texas with Pronghorn Antelope from Texas' Panhandle. I was lucky enough to film, edit and post produce the film, which has showed at Mountainfilm and Port Washington Film Festivals. The film was produced for Yeti and presented on my former employer National Geographic's website.</image:caption>

<image:caption>On occasion, I'm lucky enough to work with the photographer (and all around great human being) Dan Winters. We've collaborated on a few music videos and shorts, and it's always a lot of fun. The images we make and the stories we tell are always memorable and iconic.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Work - Nat Geo's Geo Sessions</image:title>
<image:caption>I was in the right place at the right time. A new series for Nat Geo's new Music Channel was starting up as I was finishing another job at NG. I had some experience shooting music for the Austin Music Network back in the '90s, and somehow was able to convince my boss I was the right guy for the gig. 60 episodes and two years later, I'd filmed and interviewed the likes of Ben Harper, Ozomatli, Gorillaz, Stephen Marley, Gogol Bordello, Yeasayer, Michael Franti, Taj Mahal and Ani DiFranco among many, many others.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Work - The River and the Wall</image:title>
<image:caption>I had the honor of working with director Ben Masters and a terrific team on The River and the Wall, a documentary that followed five friends as they descended the Rio Grande from El Paso the the Gulf of Mexico on bicycle, horseback, and canoe. Along the way they examined the impact a border wall would have on the environment, border culture, immigration and private property. I shot on the film along with five other very talented cinematographers, and was the primary editor. The film premiered at SXSW 2019, winning the Louis Black Lone Star Spirit Award, appeared in over 100 theaters, and a number of film festivals, including MountainFilm, Hot Docs, and Jackson Wild, where it won a Special Grand Jury Award. The River and the Wall is currently streaming on iTunes, Amazon, and a number of other streaming services.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Chasing The Tide is a 6×30 PBS series that began airing in October 2024. It follows conservationist Jay Kleberg and former wildlife biologist Chrissy Kleberg as they walk the barrier islands of Texas, 370 miles in all. I was lucky enough to produce, edit and film the series with a great crew, covering a wide variety of topics that covered the challenges of the Texas Coast. <image:title>Work - Cowboy Bourbon: The Full Proof Tale of Garrison Brothers (2023)</image:title>
<image:caption>This feature length documentary details the saga of the first (legal) bourbon distillery outside of Kentucky and Tennessee since Prohibition, Garrison Brothers, ushering in a new age of craft distiliing. I was honored to produce, edit and film the show along with Chet Garner and Daniel Mecey directing and Jim Flores acting as the Director of Photography. Great project and and ton of fun to make.
